30 January 2022, Wharton to Wallis
https://www.paraglidingforum.com/leonardo/flight/3000026 Looking at the forecast for the weekend, Sunday looked like the day with more wind (~8 kts surface) with more south in it than Saturday, and more lift. Saturday was a good flying day with great turnout and I did some tandems, but the forecast...

7 March 2021 20 mile XC Wharton to ~13 miles NW of El Campo The forecast for Sunday had been looking good for days and it delivered. I launched second after Read, around 1300. Tiki dropped me off in a fantastic thermal (thanks Tiki!) that very quickly took me to over 4400 ft. Apparently my timing wa...

Way to go Tiki! Most votes overall and 30% more than the next highest. Seems like a hell of a mandate to me.

Re: Soaring Saturday
I'll be there!
Winds look pretty light for Saturday. Maybe good day for an out and return? Sunday looks like more wind, would be the day to go somewhere. I hope to fly both days.

Re: Flymaster Trackers
If anyone is on the fence about the value of these- it's a huge step up in functionality and reliability over airtribune or similar phone based tracking. It seems like 90% of the time I have no or extremely poor cell service wherever I land but the tracker works. Only downside is they flag all your ...
